Banana Beacht, at the mouth of the river of Tamraght you will find Banana beach. The village of Banana beach is known for it’s delicious bananas. This long righthander is similar to Tamrarght but picks up more swell at low tide. The river break provide easy waves which are perfect for beginners. This surfspot gets seldom crowded
This region of Morocco is blessed with a wide range of beach breaks, reefs and point breaks. Surfing in Morocco is suitable for experienced surfers, as well as for those who are just starting out.
Immesouane is a beautiful, wild and hard to access area that offers one of the longest rides in the area. This intense consistent right hander is picking plenty of swell on small days.
Tamri Beach is a wind exposed rivermouth/beachbreak is 4 km away from the village of Tamri. This region is easier to acces than Immessouane. Tamri offers all year round consistent surf in Morocco, with good rippable fun waves with lefts and rights for all abilities.The beachbreak of Tamri is ideal when the rest of the surf spots in Taghazout tends to be flat.
Boilers is named after the relic of a schipdwreck that is perched on an island. for surfers who arent afraid of challenge. Boilers is a huge and powerful world class Moroccan right break that pitches on to an outside reef. Boilers provides fairly fast barrels with long rides. But be carefull of the very close urchin-infested rocks. Suited for the more experienced surfers.
Killer point is one of the most consistent breaks in the region of Taghazout. Named after the killers whales which are often seen here. Sheltered from North winds. This powerful righthand point with awesome barrel sections, is a perfecly peeling charger which breaks over a cliff shelf. On good days this big wave surf spot holds surf up to 15ft.
La Source, going more south of Killer Point, La Source is so called for it’s fresh water bubbling up underneat it. The small rocky and sand bottomed reef works well in right and left, and shuts down when the swell picks up. This fun wave spot with it’s lefts and rights, is ideal for surfers who want to improve their freestyle surfing skills.
Mysteries, facing the parking of Anchor point. This micro high tide righthander works great on a North West swell. The rocky and sand bottomed beach break offers plenty of long waves with intense barrel possibiliets. But watch out you do not fall during the take-off, it can be very dangerous, as you can get sucked down by the powerful wave hitting the reef.
Anchor point is world famous for its perfectly tubular waves, providing epic long wave rides in Morocco which can break for up to 1 km. This legendary right point break functions well on good winter swell. Not many surfers are capable to handle this world-class monster. Anchor point is a difficult and powerful wave only for the real die-hards.
Hash Point, this surf spot is very protected from the swell. The rocky Sand-bottomed mellow right-hand point in Morocco, is ideal for surfers who want to improve their freestyle surfing skills. These fun waves are fair to middling and becomes good with a medium to large swell.
Panoramas, sandy beach break that delivers long mellow rides, and sometimes great barrels. This good-quality righthander is risk-free and therefore ideal for beginners and advanced surfers.
Devil’s Rock is a sand-bottomed break as you head just two km North of Banana Beach. Devils rock offers on good days barreling sections. But mostly it provides friendy waves breaking both left and right, perfect for beginners.
